The six comfortable bedrooms offer combinations for each guest's preference.

The fourth floor bedrooms are:


Tree Tops Bedroom has a queen size four rice poster bed set among Family heirlooms. This room has a dormer window overlooking the Ohio River. The cream color scheme is accented with green tray ceiling and “Le Bird Cage” fabric. The bath has a dramatic black vanity.

Tree House Bedroom is also on the top floor under the slated eves with a French balcony that overlooks the forest. In the early morning you can often see deer and wild turkey outside you balcony. The green walls and queen size bed of white wicker is very cheery with an ivy motif. The adjoining bath room is called the bunny bath and also has ivy soft furnishings.

The fourth floor with its two queen bedrooms (Tree Tops and Tree House) and two baths has the connecting Crow’s Nest Sitting Room where you will be overwhelmed by the view from the balcony. You will have a “bird’s eye” view of the River since you are above the treetops. The room’s equestrian theme is complimented by a fireplace that is framed with hand-hewn beams from a barn on the property that is estimated to date back to about the 1820’s.

Crow’s Nest

Crow’s Nest Bedroom also has a sleeper sofa with doors that close for privacy. This sitting room has been provided with a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator for your morning coffee or evening beverage on the balcony with a glorious sunrise and sunset.

$600.00 a night for 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sitting room with sofa slipper and balcony.

The River Hawk, The Timber Hawk and The Sky Hawk

River Hawk

River Hawk Bedroom features a king size iron canopy bed wrapped in custom made blue toile. The French balcony frames a wonderful view of the River. The room has a beautiful French finished fire place, pretty plaster ceiling details and finished with a beautiful blue oriental rugs as well as tapestries.

Timber Hawk

Timber Hawk Bedroom boasts a large king size quarter tester bed that is hand carved mahogany. It has a beautiful arched window dressed in colorful chintz and lace. The balloon chairs in the room date back to the 1870s and flank a fire place with hand crafted trim.


Sky Hawk Room, guests  will enjoy the afternoon sunlight through lace curtains as you relax on the French daybed topped off with a bed crown. Don’t be surprised to spy a dainty doe nibbling right outside your window! The Sky Hawk’s  trundle bed and full bath are accented in blue.

Garden Level

Garden Level Suite includes a queen size bedroom with private bath that has a carwash shower, living area with sofa sleeper and small dining table as well as a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom and living area both have sliding doors that open up onto the patio with a porch swing for enjoying the views of Eagles perched on nearby trees and all sorts of birds flittering about.

$250 per night for one bedroom, one bathroom and a sitting area with a sofa slipper and kitchenette.

Hawk Wood Hall is located in a rural area, electrical power outages on rare occasions do occur. Flooding and other natural events can happen. We will do our best to make you comfortable despite weather and unusual circumstances.
